Advanced Behaviour Support Practitioner • Behaviour Support Manager

BHlthSc & MSW(PQ)

I have worked in the disability space for several years, supporting people with a wide range of needs and life experiences. My work is guided by evidence-based and trauma-informed Positive Behaviour Support. I have experience supporting adolescents and adults, specifically those in Out-of-Home Care and forensic settings, and people with complex behaviours. I am a passionate advocate for people living with a disability and working alongside people to understand what matters most to them. I enjoy collaborating with the person and their supports to develop practical strategies that support positive change in everyday life. What is most important to me is building positive, respectful relationships and ensuring people feel heard, safe, and supported. I focus on strengths, choice, and improving quality of life.

Behaviour Support Practitioner

I have a genuine passion for helping people feel seen, heard and supported. I've spent the past few years working in the disability sector, and it's where my passion lives. I love creating safe, empowering spaces where individuals can express themselves, build confidence, and feel understood. I have had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of individuals across all ages, with particular experience in working with children and families, out-of-home care settings, and participants with mental health. I believe the best outcomes happen when we all work together, so I love partnering closely with families, support workers, and the wider team to bring strategies to life in a way that truly works for each person. My goal is always to build a circle of support around each client that lifts them up, celebrates their strengths, and helps them thrive in their everyday life.

Behaviour Support Practitioner

I have a background spanning the UK and Australia and specialise in high-needs and high-risk settings. My professional foundation in the British Army, the UK Prison Service, and the disability and social care space has given me a grounded perspective on human behaviour and the ability to stay calm and decisive under pressure and in situations others may find challenging. I am passionate about developing safer, more effective practices that work in the real world of everyday life. I believe the key to long-term success is supporting the entire team around a person. My work focuses heavily on supporting-the-supports and ensuring the whole eco-system around a person are informed, heard, and engaged with the journey and support I provide to the person they care about.
